Dear Christian Friend,

Peace and love to all of you from Pennsylvania to Ohio, Maryland, and Louisiana who have partnered with us over the past three years.

The Yadah Yadah Prayer Group Ministry, Incorporated is joyful to announce The 3rd Anniversary, “Let Go and Let God” a retreat and health conference joining with millions of women across the United States for the prevention and treatment of diabetes.

The ministry is committed, as is said in our mission statement; This Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and religious purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  We, the body of Christ, wish to enlist our service to the 23.6 million children and adults in the U.S. who have diabetes.  It is our intent to reach out to the caring community of our Yadah Yadah Sistahs to support this cause through awareness, education and personal testimony.

Compared to the general population, African Americans aged 20 years or older have diabetes and statistics has proven that they are 1.6 times more likely to have diabetes as non Hispanic Whites.

Therefore, we the Yadah Yadah Prayer Group Ministry Incorporated, in celebration of our 3rd Anniversary, will enlist the help of health care professionals to teach and create awareness about diabetes; its management and treatment.  We believe having the tools to deal with this disease renders the disease powerless and restores peace to those affected enabling them to live a healthier and full life.

It is with great anticipation that we look forward to our time together not only to learn as much as is humanly possible about diabetes, but to embrace those affected in Praise and Thanksgiving for there can be no Yadah Yadah gathering without first commemorating whose we are in Christ Jesus and then find assurance through prayer.

    “I will bless the Lord at all times and His
     praise shall continually be in my mouth, my
     soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the
     humble shall hear of it and be glad.  Oh
     magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt
     His name together (Ps.34:1-3).”

We invite you, our Sistahs in Christ Jesus, to come join with us for this 3rd Anniversary in October; Friday and Saturday the 9th and 10th, 2009, as we strive to honor God with our motto (yadah yadah); “To get to know you better and inspire you to Praise.”
